The Jicarilla Ranger District is terminating its management of the Herd Management Area and passing the responsibility to the Bureau of Land Management. The transition will be in place on 1 Oct. 2011. We are working our tails off to get the last of the horses trained and adopted before the funding goes away.
We are taking the challenge to scale up and prevent any horses from being sent to Long Term Holding in the midwest.
Celebration of the animals, adopters, trainers, supporters, and staff that make Mustang Camp a great place.
